Elspeth Rae, born 25h October 1984, began acting professionally in her early teens in programmes such as ITV’ s ‘NCS Manhunt’ and BBC’s ‘Juggling’ and ‘My Hero’ as well as doing voiceovers for Joan Armatrading’s short story ‘Sandy’.

A member of Blag Youth Theatre from a young age, Elspeth was cast in numerous productions where she was able to take various comedic leads as well as develop her strong singing voice, which has now developed into a useful asset!

After finishing her ‘A’ Levels she was cast as Alex Moss in CBBC’s ‘Kerching’, where she not only got to work for three series with a talented and dedicated cast and crew, but also got to meet and work with many great comedians and actors such as Gina Yashere and Danny John-Jules.

Whilst on her second series of ‘Kerching’, Elspeth was cast both in Alistair McGowan’s ‘Big Impressions’ as well as Damyan Filmorks’ award winning short film ‘Connecting’ highlighting her ability to adapt freely and comfortably between comedy and emotional drama.
